Depths and Safety Energy Locks

In Jin Shin Jyutsu we speak of depths and safety energy locks.

A depth is a stage of creation in which life energy is manifesting itself in density.  There are a total of nine depths beginning with the most undifferentiated form moving to the manifested, physical form.

A safety energy lock is a point on the body where the internal world of our bodies can communicate with the external world.  There are 26 safety energy locks on each side of the body.  These safety energy locks can become congested when the flow of life energy in our bodies become blocked.  This provides a clue to what needs to be balanced in our bodies so harmony can be restored.

Autumn Reflections

During the past weekend, I reflected on the Autumn season –

Our dinner tables are filled with the rich colors, smells and tastes of this summer’s harvest. These foods we have harvested include plenty of colors, tastes and textures. Thus, our gardens have provided us with a balanced and energized diet. This food feeds our body, mind, emotions and spirit.

For this food to nourish, sustain and heal our bodies we need healthy, open and receptive energy pathways. These pathways feed life energy into all cells.

The ancient art of Jin Shin Jyutsu re-harmonizes and balances the energy flow along these pathways so our cells can receive the nurturance and abundance we need.

I invite you to experience this benevolent art of Jin Shin Jyutsu during this fall season.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

Physio-philosophy is the ancient art and practice of harmonizing the life energy of the whole person - mind, body and spirit. It is a highly developed form of acupressure based on the principles of Oriental therapy.
